Every year we anticipate the “trends” and “to do lists” of things for weddings. The experts basically compile a list and many follow!! With 2022 being a historic year for weddings, many styles came in and went out!! After a couple of years of backyard weddings (which we thought were to stay!!) everyone has gone BIG!! Of course everyone makes their wedding unique and personal, but trends will also be always around. At the end make we suggest make it YOUR OWN, AFTER ALL IT IS YOUR DAY!! MY THREE BOYS ~ FALL FAMILY SHOOT ~ NEW JERSEY
We do not have to say much about this shoot, the images speak volumes!! The boys were absolutely the cutest …. Three brothers with lots of smiles and such great personalities!! Kids are not always cooperative on the day of the shoot and we try many of our magic tricks to get great shots. Sometimes we have do-overs, because simply it is not their day, but not these guys. We got some great shots and the B&W are our faves. Shooting on this gorgeous fall day, the colors added so much depth and the natural light was perfect . You decide!!
B & W PHOTOS ARE STILL CLASSIC
Sure, color photography is beautiful, but B&W photos can bring a new perspective to photos that can’t always be captured in color. If you are not a photo enthusiast , you might think they are outdated, but on the contrary, B&W photos are timeless and classic. Of course today, we shoot in color and can turn any photo into sepia or B&W, but some look better than others. We always look for contrasting elements in B&W photos and love to play with shadows and love compositional challenges with our subjects !! We do mix in many in our repertoire of wedding work as well as portraits. Here are some faves from recent weddings.

This beautiful wedding took place at the unforgettable Art Factory , in Paterson New Jersey. Alexis and Matthew were on top of the world, celebrating with so many of their close friends and family.No detail was missed…. The historic location was once a rope factory, this gorgeous backdrop has so many opportunities for pictures. With ribbon wall back grounds to the cobble stone courtyard and authentic fire stairs and all…. We had the best time, with two bands and lots of dancing, plenty of food and so much excitement !!

Letting us document their love and this beautiful day was an honor to say the least! This wedding of Elisa and Anthony was one for the books. Elegant, beautiful, fun and one of the most beautiful venues in NJ The Venetian. Together, Elisa and Anthony brought together the most beautiful and loving group of friends and family to celebrate their marriage. We loved being a part of this gorgeous day!! This was one to remember, cancelled several times because of Covid restrictions, but finally this beautiful wedding took place at the Tides Estate in North Haldon, NJ . The day was perfect and everyone looked gorgeous for this long waited celebration of LOVE!! The beautiful landscaping and the backdrop of lush gardens makes this the perfect place for a wedding. So much excitement in the atmosphere!!

Check out some of the prints we did for this new eatery in Paramus, NJ. Yes, weddings are not all we do !!! First of foremost, the food is ABSOLUTELY DELISH!!!! The prints represent fresh ingredients they use on the flatbreads . We can’t rave enough about this flatbread with different toppings from around the world, so far we have not tried them all but we are planning to, for sure!!! worldFlats is located in the same building as Magique Studios (how convenient for us!)
